About Doctora Montgomery
Villa Mont owner and founder Doctora Sandra Villarreal Montgomery holds an Ed.D in Bilingual Education with a Master’s focus on Early Childhood Education. She has over 28 years in the field of academics with specializations in Bilingual Education, Early Childhood, Mathematics, and University Preparation. In addition to classroom experience teaching toddlers, preschool, kindergarten, elementary, high school, and college courses; she is an active member of the community who functions as a children’s advocate holding various positions with community and academic organizations such as:
- Robotics coach and mentor
- STEM collaborations with NASA, STEM Americas Foundation, and public schools.
- National level education research presenter
- Presenter for NASA's International Conrad Challenge
- Executive board of directors member for child abuse prevention agency
- On the board of directors for education foundations throughout Texas
- Past PTA president
- Member of a Mother’s organization that promotes children's physical, intellectual, and moral health
